  • 2016-07-12 Advanced Search is finally here

    Now you'll be able to run your boolean searches on our API:

    • Control results pagination and order.
    • Limit results to a date range
    • Results faceting (currently, only years facets are supported)

  • 2016-01-29 Added Studies threads to the API

    Our API now has an endpoint for retrieving Studies Threads information:

    • Check a thread information by visiting it's endpoint.
    • In document info, you can obtain the threads containing the document.
    • In matrix info, you can obtain the threads of each document contained in the matrix.

  • 2015-05-06 Modified display options for document search and matrix

    We've modified the way you indicate the aditional data you want to retrieve in document search and matrix info:

    • In document search, it was show_classification=true, now it is show=classification
    • In matrix info, it was show_abstracts=true, now it is show=abstracts

  • 2015-03-11 Collaborative matrices

    Epistemonikos Matrices are now collaborative! This means that each matrix can have more than one owner. The API had the following changes:

    • When consuming a matrix, the author key is replaced by authors
    • The matrix authors will be a list, instead of a string

  • 2015-03-02 Added display options to search and matrix

    • Document's publication year shown for search results
    • New option for displaying the document's classification in the search results
    • New option for displaying the document's abstracts in the matrix info
  • 2014-12-01 Added access to Epistemonikos Matrices

    The API now offers access to all public matrices created on the Epistemonikos platform. Just by submitting it's ID, you'llo be able to consume it's full list of documents (Systematic Reviews and Primary Studies)!

  • 2014-10-17 Added groups to document info and search

    Now you can narrow down your searches to a single group of documents! (more info in the Document Search section of the documentation). Also, the document information will include the groups it belongs in the metadata field (more info in the Document Information section).

  • 2014-04-16 Added expiration_date for completed tasks

    As from now, the completed Tasks (ie, the tasks with status completed), will be deleted a week later from the moment they were processed. The expiration_date will indicate the time (in UTC) when the task will be erased (you won't be able to see access it's information, including the results).

  • 2014-04-14 First version launched!

    This is the first version of the Epistemonikos API. It supports the following features:

    • All API requests must be done using an access_token.
    • Access to documents information through PubMed ID, DOI or Epistemonikos ID.
    • Search documents by keywords.
    • Tasks submission and information (only reference_search kind).
